The perfect iron

Great feel and performance. When you stand over this club it gives you confidence to make the shot. Not as workable as the blades I have played in the past but didn't expect them to be. Can still hit a tight draw or fade on command. Have had them in my bag for a year and have dropped 5 stokes off my handicap. went from a 10.2 to a 5.0

Poor quality

I bought these irons about 4 months ago from a local pro shop. These were brand new and i had just taken off the wrapper from the heads. I started using them and within a month the heads of the 7 and 6 irons started to cave in but i didn’t pay attention as i practice a lot however a few days ago i was practicing on the range with my seven iron and the head cracked and fully broke and was useless. I was very disappointed by this poor quality taylormade had displayed despite being such a big company. I hope my problem is taken seriously by taylormade and i would not recommend anyone to buy taylormade irons which break within 4 months.

i would recommend this to my friends!!!!

I bought the Driver, 3 wood, and 5 wood, and then i bought Srixon irons, i liked the Srixon's a lot but store sold me stiff staffs, and I'm a regular, took them back and they didn't have regular shafts for me so tried the M3 irons, boy I'm glad i did that, best mistake ever, loved the way the ball comes off the club head.

Smooth and solid

I had been playing an older set of r9 irons with stiff graphite shafts and stock grips for awhile and needed an upgrade. AND HAS IT EVER PAID OFF. I ordered the m3's with steel stiff shafts, I also got the GolfPride MCC +4 align grips and they are wonderful. The m3's feel wen you hit is SO pure, I don't think I'll ever go to another brand. Keep the "M family" alive and I'll keep buying! Well done TM.

Great Sticks, Great purchase!

As a taller golfer (6'7") from the Midwest there are many factors that contribute to my golfing inconsistencies. The large swing plane of a taller golfer as well as the annual winter breaks of 4-5 months we're forced to endure here in Chicago makes for a very inconsistent swing. I've played Calloway and Ping players irons much of my playing career. Because of inconsistent ball striking 3 years ago I decided to give game improvement irons a try. After testing several brands I settled on Taylormade's first generation M2 irons. The M3's performed as advertised, very very long and very forgiving. I wasn't crazy about the bulky head but I dealt with it. The one thing I couldn't deal with were my misses, which were hard pulls to the left. The offset on the M2's were a little bit much for me to deal with. After consulting with my dealer Chuck I decided to go with the TM M3's. The TM M3'S were everything they were advertised to be and more, much less offset, smaller blade, long, and forgiving! You won't be able to work them like blades or some muscle backs but I can move them a little and honestly when I want them to go straight they go straight. Good friend of mine plays the P790's and I love the feel of them both agreed that my M3's offered more forgiveness which is something I need. Highly recommend trying them out!

3 rounds and many problems

I was fitted for a set of M3 irons. I have a set with 1 degree upright, KBS tour s shafts and golf pride grips. During the 3rd round, the 5 Iron shaft broke right at the hossel. Had to wait 2 weeks for the repair. Could have been done same day at the shop I bought clubs at if Taylormade would have approved. Not sure why it had to be sent in when it was clear that it was not from misuse. Today I inspect my clubs and on the 7 iron and 6 iron the faces are caved in by the face slot at the toe. I have only played 3 rounds and 3 practice sessions and this what i get so far. Not good for a $1000 set of clubs. Will be calling Taylormade on Monday.

I only tested on a range

I was able to spend time hitting various manufactures clubs one day. I play Ping i7 and tried the Callaway Rogue, Titleist AP1 and the M3. The M3s were consistantly 10 yards longer, probably lofts, but were the most consistant distancewise on my mishits. It did not matter where I hit on the face...160, 159,161, 162, 159...BOOM! The most amazing thing to me though was the feel. I could still tell my mishits, but my mishits felt better than my Ping solid hits. Like Butter! The best feeling irons I have ever hit. Now...what do i do?

TM M3 Irons

Got the TM M3 irons after having trouble with the M1 irons. Really like the look of the M3s over the M1s; not a lot of differences, but enough to notice. The RibCor technology seems to have fixed the face problems TM was having with the 2017 M1s and M2s. Ball really jumps off the face. Have previously played AP2s, but really like it that I've switched to irons that have much more forgiveness. M3s are also much longer. Still learning exactly what these clubs can do, but happy with my change.

Just played my first round with my new M4 Irons-5-SW.

Wow! How sweet it is!! I'm relatively new to golf. Been playing for about 6 years(keeping score). All my prior clubs were very a mixed collection of very second hand sticks. I decided it was time to make the commitment to playing better golf, with better equipment. I went to my local, fantastic golf facility and started to kick the tires of all the golf manufacturers. And, man, there are plenty to pick from! Really, overkill in so many ways. But, actually taking the clubs out to the practice area was the thing to do. Very quickly the Taylormade M4 irons stood out. They had just the right amount of forgiveness, feel of contact, distance and accuracy. The M4 irons are top quality made clubs. They feel great and look great. I decided on the graphite shafts over the steel. In my advanced years(68), the graphite shafts produced an easier swing with less fatigue at the end of the round. I was ready for another 18, no problem! Coming up to the 18th green, I was very excited knowing that I made the right choice for me. I contacted a PGA professional to complete the other step to enjoying my golfing experience! The Taylormade M4 Irons are golfing gold!
