Noted the coated Aluminium face leads to a knock & hard touch during ball contact. Therefore, went to master proshop to replace it by a GSS inserted. It's fantastic now.
Bought this putter left handed 35†love every bit of it the way the ball feels coming off the face and just how smooth it is with little effort to even hit the ball and back is a plus if you don’t want to bend over to pick up a gimmie
This is an excellent putter, definitely has improved my game! Only complaint is that the red paint is chipping, doesn't seem right after two months of play??
There was no option to change the grip in the order process.
I've used this Ardmore 2 putter for a few rounds now and am sinking more putts with it! I really like the putter face material, the ball jumps off the face and rolls accurately. The putter is exceptionally well balanced, and I really like the red color and matching cover. Two recommendations for potential buyers- I read a review of this putter where the putter face had been damaged, so I'm keeping the putter in its cover except when I'm using it. Also note the putter comes with two 10 gram weights in the sole, which can be replaced with lighter weights available for purchase separately on this site. The weights are priced and sold quantity of 1, so remember to buy 2 of the lighter weights plus the wrench if you decide to switch them.
Love this putter! I can say one of the biggest Taylormade fan- simply a lovely putter. Of course now TW uses this putter and he send that his putting game is very sharp!! Well made.

I brought this putter because I liked the feel, weight and looks of it. Within one week of using it....keeping the cover on after putting and having a bag where the putter sits lower than the other clubs...I noticed a dent in the face plate material. The material appears to be some type of hard rubber. I took it back to the place I bought it from to see if I could get the face plate replaced. The salesperson contacted Taylormade and was told they dont do that and I could just live with it or buy a new one. I do not recommend this club and am very disappointed in what they think passes as good customer service. They never even considered the possibility there might be a defect in this particular face plate material. I will never buy anything from Taylormade again.
