TaylorMade Golf Canada is partnering with staff professionals from across the country to deliver golf balls to front line health care workers. Participating locations across Canada include TaylorMade Golf Canada’s Professional Advisory Board, Council Member and Ambassador facilities.
As a small token of appreciation, front line health care workers in Canada will receive a six golf ball gift—provided as three (3) two-ball packs of TP5, PIX and Tour Response—at all participating TaylorMade Golf Canada-friendly facilities across the country (while supplies last). Distribution of the golf balls begins the week of June 8th as front line health care workers find time for a well-deserved and relaxing round of golf.
“While Canadians navigate through the impact of the pandemic, we’re certainly pleased golfers across Canada are able to enjoy our great game once again,” said David Bradley, Vice President and General Manager of TaylorMade Golf Canada. “At TaylorMade Golf Canada, we wanted to thank the amazing front line health care workers across the country with a small gift for their first rounds of the season.”
Participating facilities—both private and public— across Canada include (West to East):
Additional Support to Canada's Front Line in Health Care
In addition to the course locations above, a number of other TaylorMade Golf Canada Professionals and ambassadors have also received the golf ball gift packs and will be distributing to front line health care workers directly.
When requesting the gift at a participating golf facility, please identify yourself as a front line health care worker. For additional details, please contact the facility directly. Public golf courses will have gifting available for public play while private club gifting will be shared within club membership.
The free golf balls for front line health care workers comes on the heels of TaylorMade’s Driving Relief initiative which raised a total of $5.5 million USD during play; with the money raised going directly to organizations leading the COVID-19 efforts on the front line. Of that total, nearly 1.1 million came from viewer donations.
For an option to support COVID-19 relief within Canada, golf fans generously donated to Canadian front line healthcare workers with a donation to The FrontLine Fund. The FrontLine Fund provides a way for Canadians to donate money that will go directly to more than 160 participating hospitals battling COVID-19 from the front lines across the country. Front line health care workers who do not have access to a participating golf facility should contact TaylorMade Golf Canada directly by emailing taylormadeca@taylormadegolf.com with the subject line: “Front Line Golf Balls.” Within the body of your email, please include your name, shipping address, health care affiliation and where you plan to tee it up next.
Update: Thank you for your emails and interest. Due to high demand and requests, all of our individual shipments have now been allocated. Thanks again for your interest and special thanks to all Front Line workers who are playing an important role across the county.
