This has been a great putter that I have added to my bag. However, the paint has chipped in a couple places and the head cover has lost all the stick to it's Velcro. Have lost the head over multiple times at my Club but have been able to have it found by others. My putter is center shafted so most other covers don't work. Alot of money for a product that hasn't lasted like I expected.

Velcro closure simply does not hold. I’m amazed I haven’t lost it yet. Why is this not magnetic? Considering the putter was $400, you’d think the cover would be at least adequate. Not what I’ve come to expect from TM.

Had the putter for a couple months, no complaints about the putter itself. The velcro part of the cover started to become lose and fall off all the time. Today was the day where it fell off and I guess someone picked it up and neglected to turn it in. Annoying. Really wish the cover was magnetic or had higher quality velcro.

Love the actual putter and all my other Taylormade clubs, but this head over does not live up to standards. Have lost two of these; the cover is nice but the Velcro is terrible. Should have a magnetic closure.

I see throughout the reviews both good and bad, issues with the Velcro on the head cover and how bad it is. I think it is just the opposite, that it works almost too well. I have had mine for 2 years and had issues with the Velcro not staying closed after 6 months or so. Found that the hooks were holding so tight that it was clogging up with loose fuzz from the other half. Running the tip of a razor blade, pin, or anything else with a small fine point allowed me to clean out the hooks and it worked fine for another 18 months. It started again not holding tight, but this time it was not because the hooks were clogged, but the other side had become frayed. This appears to because again by the hooks holding to tight. Ran a pair of scissors across the fuzzing areas and trimmed the loose pieces. Back to working like a charm. The only reason I will need to replace the cover is the look. 2 years of rubbing on other surfaces and to much sun have worn and cracked the exterior surface and it looks dirty and shabby. Still works great though.

Bought a Spider X, absolutely love the putter, but what a terrible putter cover. Spent nearly $400 on a putter, the headcover should be better quality.

Bought this putter 2 weeks prior to the head covers Velcro giving. Don’t know if I had a factory defect, but quality was poor. Design was sharp and looked great, needs better quality Velcro though at such a high price point.

I love the putter but the Velcro on the head over is so bad it won’t stick after 3 rounds of golf. The head cover looks great but if it won’t stay on the putter because of the velcro it’s pretty useless.

Let me be clear this is a review on the headcover not the Spider X. The Spider X is an awesome putter as for the headcover though... I purchased a MySpider X late 2020 and got the special design headcover with it which is great looking. I have now replaced the velcro on the headcover at least 3 times now through a sewing company. I also purchased the headcover under this review and that already failed as well. I have tried to find the Myspider headcover online but its impossible to find. I believe the Spider GT is finally a magnetic headcover which almost wants me to go out and get that putter just for the headcover and not have to deal with the velcro anymore but that's an expensive headcover (lol). Ill keep getting the velcro replaced on my Myspider headcover until I am ready to spend the money on a GT. The materials inside and out on the headcover is high quality though.

Bought the putter brand new from my pro shop last summer, played maybe 30 rounds with it and the Velcro on the cover won't stick any more. Falls off all the time. Very annoying but love the putter!
