Danish Delight in Thailand as Thorbjørn Olesen Captures his 7th DP World Tour Title

Thorbjørn Olesen surged through the field with a faultless eight under par on moving day at the Thailand Classic placing himself two shot ahead going into the final day, and proceeded to keep the field at bay completing his second consecutive bogey free round closing out the tournament with rounds of 67-67-64-66.
Showing no signs of faltering coming down the stretch, he fired safely at the centre of the green on the 17th hole trusting his new TP Soto to ensure a par. Having no doubt at fairway finding on the final hole with his Stealth 2 Plus driver in hand he gave himself the best angle in the final green.
- Ranked 1st in Green in Regulation in rounds two and three with 88.9%, using a combination set of P•700 Series Irons.
- Converted every up and down with the use of his Hi Toe 3 wedges and TP Soto putter posting a 100% scramble rate for the week.
- Led in strokes gained with +4.46 total, including ranked 4th in strokes gained: approach with +2.25
- Moves up 15 places to 5th in the DP World Tour Rankings.
