I was very hesitant to purchase not knowing if I had the ability to strike these. Arguably the top player iron on the market, I love the weight distribution and the extra perimeter weighting is outstanding. Don't think, just purchase if these on your radar.
Recently fitted for irons for the first time. In they end it was between the P770 or the P7MC. I choose to go with the P7MC. My first 4 rounds with these irons were my 4 best scores this season. Each round has progressively gotten better.
Secured myself a set of P7MC 4-PW left hand with stiff KBS $Taper shafts. These replaced my 2021 P770’s. As a 12-15 handicapper - I was worried the less forgiving club would penalize me, however given the slightly heavier head weight, I am seeing better distance on all irons, and slightly off center shots still carry very well also. I also considered a split set, keeping the P770 for my 4-6 irons, however given the distance improvements- I went with a full set. As for that buttery feeling when you strike these “pure†- it is simply addictive!!
For starters, Idk my handicap so we’ll say mid as far as my iron play goes. I got a hand-me-down set from an old neighbor when I was 14 and have worn my club faces down to nothing over the past 5 years and decided I’m due. I get a shift a week while I’m at college and have saved up for irons and a bag since early fall. After probably over a hundred articles and videos, I landed on these, refusing to be discouraged by everything saying I can’t hit these. First round out, I was able to shape and flights shots like I always dreamed of but couldn’t quite get out of my old clubs. I seriously could not recommend these and the cart bag more. Hopefully another review of the MG3 wedges coming eventually, as I have to restart in the bank.
I am a 5 hcper and was fitted for this irons after a year playing P770s. The feel is awesome and they look stunning in the bag. Absolutely love them!
I recently purchased the from EMegastore Dubai as I am a working resident in Bahrain. Bahrain does not have a golf store only the pro shop at Royal Golf Course. I purchased through Adam and I have to tell you he and his staff first class. He made these one degree stronger 4-9 with S400's and TM golf pride Z grips grey color. Amazing irons and pure feel. They are thin on the topline and bottom of the club. Just sexy irons
These irons have a player's profile and incredible feel. I found them not to be as scary as others make them out to be, and of course they are some of the best looking clubs on the market. If you are considering clubs in the range of Titleist T100, Mizuno 223, Ping i230, etc, you need to try these. They offer a bit of help when compared to a blade and combo great with either the P7MB or P770. They are a welcomed addition to my bag after "graduating" from my P790's.
Just off the looks alone these will get a 5-star review. They are excellently made irons, and will do everything that you need and expect a players iron to do.
I love it. It’s so beautiful. You have to see it in person to see how beautiful it is. I’m a 20 plus handicap and I can hit it very well.
Irons are very pure off the face and have a nice top line at address. They are more forgiving that last years model and I also noticed a little more distance.
