Les fers Irons P790 Black combinent une performance puissante à une conception propre et classique afin d’offrir une distance sans précédent pour un fer. En combinant une fabrication forgée avec notre nouvelle technologie révolutionnaire SpeedFoam, les golfeurs vivront une sensation, une tolérance et une maniabilité inégalées pour tout fer de ce calibre.
Avec le P790, les ingénieurs de TaylorMade ont relevé le défi de créer un fer forgé qui permet à la balle de parcourir une distance remarquable et au joueur de vivre une sensation et une jouabilité améliorées, le tout dans une forme épurée appréciée des joueurs avertis.
La cavité creuse du P790 utilise la technologie SpeedFoam, une nouvelle construction exclusive qui sert deux objectifs : générer de la vitesse de balle et optimiser le son et la sensation. Injectée dans la tête de bâton, SpeedFoam fournit un soutien à la face du bâton et un étouffement du son qui rendent la performance du P790 inégalée parmi les fers de la famille TaylorMade.
Le P790 comporte également une épaisseur de face ultramince de 1,75 mm avec la technologie de cône inversé repensée pour s’adapter à la face légèrement plus petite. Le nouveau cône inversé plus petit permet de réduire l'épaisseur de la face sur ses bords, ce qui accroît la flexibilité du talon à la pointe et sur le bas de la face et donne plus de vitesse à la balle sur toute la face.
En ce qui a trait à l'indulgence et à la jouabilité, les fers P790 ont un poids interne de tungstène moulé par injection de poudre métallique (MIPM) placé stratégiquement afin d’obtenir un positionnement précis du centre de gravité et un moment d’inertie supérieur.

Bought these last fall, this is my first full season with them. The clubs are ok, would rather have gotten more of a blade. Dont buy in black, they look terrible after one month. Very unhappy with the poor finish. If you want black irons buy cobra, callaway, or pxg.
I have been playing golf for 20+ years and these are the most accurate and long irons that I have ever played by far. I would not trade these for anything on the market. I went from shooting mid to low 70's to shooting mid 60's to low 70's if I could putt like a pro I would be one. Thanks again taylormade. P790 black irons.
They play exactly how I wanted them too. Look and feel great!

I like the black finish. Makes it look more compact to my eye. Very forgiving and long. Great feel, not as workable as I'd like but straight is always good.
Best irons I've ever hit
Just got the irons about a month ago and they are very impressive!!! Solid feel!!! Only reason that I'm not giving them 5 starts is because I've played 7 rounds and hit maybe 300 range balls with them....and the finish on the face is already coming off. I know that was inevitable, but I thought I'd get through the end of summer atleast.
I strongly recommend that you get fitted, so the clubs fit your swing and you get the maximum performance from the clubs. I did and I am extremely pleased with the distance and control that I am consistently experiencing.The feel and sound are exceptional. The only issue may be that there is a question about how long the PVD finish will retain its luster. New, they look amazing. I have heard comments and questions being raised about how long a PVD finish (similar to electroplating) will last with ordinary use. Right now, I'm not worried about it, but it may be something to consider.
Bought these custom order through my course proshop. They are so nice. The feel is amazing and they are half to a full club longer than I hit my rsi2s. They are just as forgiving and I love the trajectory I get. Save up and get you some.
