I was not happy with my consistency with driver, and during a fitting the new Taylormade Burner Mini Driver was placed into my hands. Being 5’8” tall, the shorter shaft and incredible balance of this club was “perfect for me”. I immediately purchased the 11.5 degree mini driver and took my Taylormade Sim out of the bag. This club is outperforming any driver/shaft combo I have ever tried, my consistency and accuracy is way up and hitting driver off the deck is a breeze with this club head design. If you are a golfer who struggles with driver, but hits 3 wood and 5 wood consistently, then this Taylormade Mini Driver is the club for you. I bought a Stealth Plus driver this winter and played with it over the winter months inside the simulators and thought I had found the driver for me! I was playing a nice cut off the tee and the right side of the fairway did not exist! The outdoor season started and we'll I couldn't keep it in play :(. I started to hear about how the BRNR was more accurate than a driver being shorter and was good for golfers who struggled with driver off the tee. Picked up an 11.5 burner with a stiff shaft and gave it a go. Buying this thing has been the best thing for my golf game! I'm hitting it more consistent, and longer than I ever hit my driver!!! I'm out driving many of the people that I play with now a days who are hitting driver, or ar hitting driver from advanced tees! The only thing I wonder about is there a better shaft for me that is better than the off the shelve shaft that came with the driver. I'm tempted to get fit but don't want to mess with a good thing either. I'm averaging 260 to 270 but depending on the course conditions and the hole I've hit up to 300 yards with it. Next to buying mu Scotty Cameron putter this is the best golf purchase I've made!!!
