Clubs are smooth and balanced, and have improved the consistency of my admittedly very amateurish game. But I keep reaching for the 5 iron, and there isn’t one. Why is that?

I absolutely love my Gloire clubs because of how it thoughtfully fits my typical Asian build (height and bone structure) with smaller grip size and lighter weight. A couple of improvements can be made, however. The grips are understandably most fragile and get "chewed up" easily. No replacement grips can be found since these were made in Japan for Taylormade. And for me, the SR shafts are perfect for my swing speed except for the driver. Because of its uniquely light weight, the drier, alone, needs a stiffer shaft (for a higher kick point) so that the ball doesn't get flicked on a high launch angle. I searched and bought a stiff shaft Glorie driver from Japan, the only place it's available..The result is simply wonderful. I have never struck the balls any better. Thank Taylormade for having these clubs in their line up. BTW, I am at a 8.4 handicap index with a 92 mph swing speed..

Ever since I tried these clubs in a golf shop in Japan, I've thought of buying these clubs. A bit pricey, but worth it. They're lofted stronger than most clubs. And, I love the Firm (SR) flex shaft option.

I bought thèse irons à year ago to replace my old cobra amp. There a great i gain in distance and confidence. I am always between rigid and regular for shaft. The speedster s/r is a great solution Very happy with this just regret i did not had the possibility to buy thé sandwedge
