This was a big upgrade from my M2 3 wood that cracked in its face earlier this year. Using the M6 now, it launches higher, longer, offers great forgiveness on mishits, and is great for off the tee and on the turf. I've never been able to use a fairway wood confidently off the turf but with the M6, I have been able to confidently launch the ball higher and longer. I would definitely buy this if you are interested in a fairway wood that offers great forgiveness, distance, and easy launching. Thank you Taylormade!
Yes, I recommend this product
I bought this club to replace my RBZ 3 wood. I loved until the head cracked this weekend hitting a normal tee shot. I filed a warranty claim and waiting to hear back from TM CS.
Performance, distance and straight, fell in love. BUT, cracked above face in less than a year...and didn't play that many rounds after purchased. From others feedback design for durability is flawed. Just starting the warranty process, but not sure how long the next one will last either... :(
Unfortunately my M6 3 wood cracked at the top front of the club face during my first round playing with it. This seems to be a common occurrence with this model which worries me, but I am still hopeful that customer service will be able to work something out with me. It has been over a Month and I am still waiting to hear back.
Bought this club from my local DickÂ’s Sporting Goods in May 2020, and the face is developing rust. Club performed as well as my swing could make it, but should this rust be developing? I keep my clubs clean and dry and donÂ’t store them wet EVER. Can you help?
I picked this up on Sunday and after only hitting 20-30 range balls the face looks like it has been used for 7 or 8 years. Very disappointing! I bought this along with the new SIM Driver and am getting fit Friday for 790 irons but if this is the way TaylorMade clubs wear I might reconsider. I am a lower handicapper and do not beat clubs up. These were supposed to be a treat, and SIM Driver is great but steer clear of M6 3 wood as I have read many reviews NOW of this being the case. I guess at least it hasn't caved in yet which other reviews will tell you. See picture below...this is after being cleaned and hitting very few balls. Havent even played a round yet just one visit to range. Sadly I loved the performance and look but this shouldnt happen with quality clubs! Steer clear!
Getting back into golf. Bought an M6 Driver, loved it and decided to buy the 3 wood and a couple hybrids. The first time I hit this club it went 244 center fairway off the tee. Admittedly, all things came together on this one swing but it was solid. Proceeded to hit it a couple more times during the round with similar feel but a little less distance. A very, very fine 3 wood.
100% satisfied with the way TaylorMade’s customer service handled my review. Thank you. ????? 1 out of 5 stars. Ron44 · a month ago Poor Quality!! I bought this club 2 weeks ago. On my 3rd shot ever with this club I got underneath the ball. I was very surprised to see a huge scuff mark on top of the club (see photo). I was expecting much better quality from TaylorMade. Way too expensive of a club for a quality ball to leave this type of mark on a club. Very disappointing!! Response from TaylorMade Golf: Customer Service · a month ago Sorry to hear about your club! Popping the ball up is always a bummer when you look down at the club after and a nice scuff. Typically not a situation we cover under warranty, but we have reached out to you to see if there is something we can do to help.
I was having difficulty hitting my old 3 wood and decided to try the M6. It is everything I hoped it would be. I am now hitting my 3 wood well both from the fairway and from the rough. I couldn't ask for more.
