This heralded major returns to its rightful position: The Season Opener. Here, tradition is supreme, and our 2021 collection of Season Opener accessories honors that. We draw inspiration from the unmatched landscape and floral bursts that signal both the unofficial start of golf and the beginning of spring. To celebrate a place where every detail is well thought out, let’s explore the defining aspects of our Season Opener accessories.
Our 2021 Season Opener Staff Bag draws inspiration from the caddie jumpsuits that have long been an iconic symbol of the Georgia course. The bags feature a clean, all-white body accented with the tournament’s signature green color and subtle nods that pay homage to the revered venue. A message across the upper reads “Hello Patrons” in acknowledgment of the return of spectators at this year’s playing. Highway 1 adorns the bag handle, which is the city of Augusta’s main thoroughfare, while a reminder that strict rules apply is etched onto the base. A Flowering Peach rests on the valuables pouch, selected in honor of hole No. 3.
The metalwood headcovers feature an overlay of the corresponding holes (driver/hole No. 1 | 3wd/hole No. 3 | hybrid/hole No.10), each adorned with the holes’ namesake flower. The distinctive driver cover features an ornate Tea Olive honoring the opening hole, which is named after the fragrant white flowers that decorate its landscape. The fairway cover showcases a Flowering Peach honoring the third hole, while the hybrid cover honors the 10th with an evergreen Camellia. The internal lining is an all-over azalea print.
The Season Opener blade and mallet putter covers are inspired by the time-honored caddie jumpsuits, featuring a solid white base with green accents. The TaylorMade logo is accentuated by floral prints, depicting the ornate blooms that decorate the grounds.
