It’s April, and that means only one thing in the world of golf – the arrival of spring and the first, and most anticipated major championship of the year in Augusta, Georgia. It’s something I wait for all year: Jim Nantz’s ‘Hello friends’ broadcast introduction, the par-3 contest, opening tee shots from the honorary starters (past champions), the back nine roars on Sunday. . . You get the picture.
In honor of this timeless tradition, we’re proud to announce the Season Opener staff bag, headcovers and TP5 and TP5x pix™ golf balls.
Let’s jump in for a closer look at the gear Team TaylorMade athletes will be repping this week that can be yours too.

Nowhere else in all of sport is the colour green held in higher reverence than in Augusta, Georgia. It’s featured prominently on this year’s staff bag where it pays homage to the host venue’s verdant grounds. Set against an embossed white background, green TaylorMade logos appear on either side panel in script synonymous with this tournament. A gold team TaylorMade badge can also be found on green valuables pocket.

Subtle nods to the host venue can be found throughout the Season Opener staff bag. A peach sits front and centre on the valuables pocket where it pays tribute to the host state of Georgia. Peaches also abound on the interior pocket lining offering golfers a sweet treat whenever they reach inside.

TP5 and TP5x Stripe Season Opener golf balls feature a verdant green TaylorMade logo encased by a pink azalea ClearPath Alignment™ stripe making the path to better golf brighter than ever before.
Each individual sleeve of both TP5 and TP5x Stripe balls is adorned with white azaleas set against a green background. Green Metal T™ logos occupy either end.
The TP5x dozen box features a green background embossed with azaleas and TaylorMade logos. Gold trim encases white scripted ‘TaylorMade’. White trim occupies the outer edges.
The TP5 dozen box is palleted with a white background that’s etched with azaleas and TaylorMade logos. Green trim frames scripted ‘TaylorMade’ which sits front and centre. The outer edges are laced with green as well.

Each of the headcovers in the Season Opener Collection is laden with white and pink flowers symbolic of the season of bloom that’s showcased every year in Georgia. The interiors are pink and further complete the arrival of the spring colour story.
